Discussion:
Does a + mean that you must have animation?

Dear All,

I am aware that the FF/SeaMonkey SVG implementation does not do
animations but does that include SVG files which have an expansion (+)
indicator?

I am looking to convert our XMI into SVG for viewing without having to
install a UML package & I came across UML2SVG.

The examples work fine in IE + Adobe but given the navigation part of
the diagram starts out as the root item which then needs to be clicked
on to show all the diagrams contained within the rendering of the XMI,
all you get in FF is that initial view e.g.:

try:

http://uml2svg.sourceforge.net/samples/StattAuto.svg

& you will see what I mean.

I would like the svg'es to be accessible to all (i.e. IE+Adobe & FF/Sea
Monkey) so if FF is not likely to work with the above SVG in the near
future I will have to split it up some way myself.

TIA

It is highly questionnable why Mozilla should be the "SVG discussion
holder" but what happened is happened.
